Horse-drawn Sleigh Taxi
A great way of getting around Avoriaz with children or lots of luggage is by horse drawn sleigh! Kids love sleigh rides around Avoriaz resort because they can get up close to the horses and feed them. Short journeys range from just 5 – 13 euros, and can be a great reward for children.
Romantic sleigh rides give couples the perfect opportunity to cozy up under a warm blanket and take in the views. Longer scenic tours are possible, taking you around the resort for 15 – 35 euros.
You can pick up sleighs at the resort entrance, parking areas, top of the “Prodains” telecabine or centre of town.

Airport transfers drop off at the reception area where you can grab a sleigh to take you and your luggage to your accommodation. From here, you’ll find everything you need on your doorstep from ski hire shops to restaurants and bars.
