Glenn Wellesley is a British ski instructor who has been ski-teaching for over 20 years. His career has taken him all over the world, including the U.S.A and New Zealand before made the French slopes his winter home.
Glenn has his full BASI (British Association of Snowsport Instructors) international ski teacher licence with full French equivalence, but many of the skills that set him apart from other ski instructors came as a result of a ski racing injury. Glenn lost the physical strength to ski at race-level using orthodox methods, so he researched the latest techniques in bio-mechanics and sports science to find the easiest, most energy-efficient ways to ski.
The realization and understanding of how psychology and clarity are key factors in sport spurred him on to seek out and emulate World-renowned mentors and leaders in performance coaching.
Glenn is well equipped to help you “get the most without using the most” and to… Ski with Ease™. These performance soft skill coaching methods are tried and tested by elite athletes and will help ease you into the right mindset to get you skiing as quickly as possible.
Here’s Roger, a British ski instructor with 20 years’ extensive experience of ski teaching across France’s top ski resorts. He will coach you technically, tactically and psychologically to achieve your skiing goals.
Unlike some of our other instructors, who learned to ski when they were little more than toddlers, Roger discovered skiing as a teenager. He can still remember what it was like to go from feeling wobbly on first turns, to developing towards mastery – so, when it was his daughter’s turn to learn to ski, he started her early – at just 2 years old.
When he’s not in the mountains, Roger travels the world as a management consultant; he can draw on a broad range of life experiences to complement his teaching.
Chris is a highly experienced all-mountain ski instructor and ski tour leader. His more recent ski tours have spanned the demanding Haute Route and Bernese Oberland in the Alps, and the Lyngen Peninsula in Norway.
With years of experience teaching on and off piste, he knows how to put you at ease on your skis. His client and hospitality skills are first class, having run his own successful chalet company in Meribel for many years and teaching many of his clients to ski. Chris shares his passion for the mountains with his son who, inspired by his father, “followed in his tracks” and became a ski instructor – as well as a freestyle snow park competitor and coach.

During the ski season, you will find me managing the office, looking after clients, on the slopes helping out with larger group ski lessons, taking photos and videos documenting your ski lessons and updating our social media pages with the latest events and daily weather reports to enhance your skiing holiday.
