There are four different “Meribel” Resorts with differing altitude: Meribel Centre (1450m) Meribel Village (1400m), Meribel Les Allues (1100m), Meribel Mottaret (1750m) each have its own character.
Typically, the closer you are to Meribel Centre and the Chaudanne lift area the more you can expect to pay for your accommodation. Skiing within the valley ranges from 1100m to 2950m, giving you almost 2km vertical in one valley.

Chambery is the closest airport to Meribel at around 102km and has the shortest transfer time of around 120 minutes. However, it is now mainly used as a charter flight destination. For a greater choice of airlines and flights, consider Geneva Airport, Lyon Airport or Grenoble Airport.
