If you like challenging steep runs that seem to go on forever then the advanced ski slopes Morzine & Portes du Soleil has plenty for you to enjoy.
The drop from the Hauts Forts to the head of the Prodains valley alone is over 1000 meters!
Advanced skiers can warm up in the Pointe de Nyon area, ski the Aigle Rouge before the Aigle Noir moguls. Move on to Chamossière to take in on the Creux black bumps and moguls.
Chamossière again and down the Arbis red. This steep run with black style moguls at the top before it opens out into a high speed wide run. The Grand Pre area at the bottom is a good place to refuel with a small cluster of mountain restaurants. From here Chavannes bowl above Les Gets is close by and work the Yeti and Rosta black runs and moguls.
Advanced skiers heading to Super Morzine/Avoriaz should try the Hauts Forts secteur and spend the day enjoying the black runs. These are super steep, very long and in the case of the Combe du Machon have very demanding moguls.
